I know Carolien through my work as a chef, since 2007. Carolien at that time was a student from the hotel school and worked with me in the kitchen of a high-end restaurant in Zeeland. Besides doing well as colleagues, we became friends and her passion and drive for hospitality and food/wine industry was great value for me keeping this friendship strong. In 2011, I moved from Zeeland to Amsterdam and kept the contact with Carolien. She also moved to the capital of the Netherlands for a few years.
Her hospitality experience and knowledge were growing fast, she changed from a young girl with passion who knew what she wanted, into a professional with a hands-on mentality. Personally, I think that Carolien is a well educated young hospitality professional, who has an enormous drive, ambition and unstoppable passion to do things the right way. With her knowledge and experience, she has the future in front of her and I am certain that she will manage to increase professionalism/service and hospitality in locations where she will get the chance.
